The Brief [summarized]:
- Create a homepage and 2 further pages for an online lifestyle magazine. These must be linked through hyperlink
- This is targeted towards Gen X and millennial audiences[24-57]. This must include a cross gender identity of any and all genders.
- The website must contain forms of participatory readership[comments, likes, shares, etc.]
- Website should contain 1 minute+ of additional 'multimedia' content
- Homepage must be largely visual, including a menu that links to the other 2 pages, showing the size of the website.
- The link to the other pages will contain content i see fit to appeal to my target audience and brand image.
- All pages should feature unique layouts/designs, yet fit in the overall house style of the magazine.
- Must create a 3 minute audio feature, this is done to promote the magazine. In this it must include an indent, 3 people/voices, background music.
Minimum Requirements
Home Page:
- Original title/logo
- Menu
- Social media links[IG, twitter, etc.]
- Hyperlink for further 2 pages
- Main homepage image[not used on other pages]
- Images, text, font etc, that clearly identify a house style.
Related 2 pages:
- Relevant representations of content about people, social groups, events or places which are specific to the target audience.
- Appropriate lifestyle magazine conventions throughout.
- Shared house style toward homepage, yet unique layouts/designs.
- Pages need to offer appropriate amounts of information, a 1 minute multimedia piece of content, and audience interactions.
For all pages:
- Hyperlinks linking all pages together
- An original copy[text] throughout the website, spanning at least 400 words.
- Clear house style for the whole website.
3-minute audio feature:
- 3 people, with a narrator, interviewer, interviewee.
- Scripted dialogue
- Diegetic and non-diegetic sound
- Appropriate language, narrative, mixing and conventions.
